The True Love

If you are reading this article hoping to find another story with a rich guy and beautiful girl in love, or two people of different castes in a relationship; then you are in the wrong place.  I am writing it only to explore the meaning of true love.Before you pull your hairs for picking this article and cursing me for writing it, give a thought to the question" what is love". I am sure there must be innumerable answers describing it in the best of adjectives and adverbs: positive and negative both I am sure. You might have remembered your past experience or must be fantasizing a beautiful one, rather I should phrase it as picture perfect one.
Let me come to the practical meaning of love. If you enter a relationship only to have a company when your friends tease you for being single, or you think you are a dude or a hot chick and you should have girls: or boys in the latter case, wooing you wherever you go then its just love:  better term it as that you are in a relationship. But when you see someone with whom you think  you can spend your whole life, make big promises,  start planing your future then probably its true love.But  if  your dream love dumps you for someone or something one fine day, then what? Either you tell yourself it was not your true love: else you cry, cry for  months together , eat your room-mates head, carry a sad face everywhere convincing yourself that if it was your true love it would come back to you.
So technically your love was true or not depends on the condition if it holds on to you or leaves you  for another person: And for people who  have more patience, would frame it as if it comes back to you then its true, else not. But guys do you remember the first and probably the most thought quality of love-"Its unconditional". So why condition it guys.
Love is love. It itself is a pure feeling. You need not add another word "true" to it according to  your comfort. Love is already complex enough. Adding this word would  rather increase the complexities. So keep it simple.and next time when you  say to someone, " you are my true love", decide it in your minds what you mean when you say this.

Before I share  the review of this book let me ask you a question. Remember the last time  when you got sick and you needed to see the doctor.After reaching the clinic , you realise you have two options either to consult a male or a female doctor (considering both are from the same field), I am sure most of you would opt for the former irespective of the fact whether you are a guy or a girl.The rule atleast applies to all those who belong to the urban category.have you thought why.Why do women have to prove their worthand capability in every field.
 The  book deals with same issue. Its a story of 3 female doctors and their struggle in the medical world. Dr Paige Taylor, Dr Kate Hunter ad Dr Honey Taft  are  the three female doctors who join a hospital together. They get to know each other and and become good friends as they share the appartment. Dr Paige Taylor:  intelligent ambitious and hardworking, Dr Kate Hunter: beautiful but vulnerable trying to run from her terrible past   Dr Honey Taft: not so beautiful or intellgent but still determined.
And so the book is about their lives, their struggles their friendship their deep dark fears and their determination to prove themselves to the world and come put victorious. A perfect medical thriller with a pinch of romance in it. A story full of twists and turns, you wont keep it down till the last page

Mumbai

As I begin to write this article the lines of movie "Wake up Sid" come to my mind: what should I write about this city that has not been told before. But I am sure there is much more to explore, a lot more to find out. A dreamland for many, the gateway to glamour world , the entry to showbiz, or an opportunity to explore any possibility to follow one's dreams, or probably the place that discovers a better you, may be the best of you.
 It is a pilgrim tour if you wish. Beginning from the famous Siddhivinayak temple,  one can move on to Mahalakshmi temple, Iskon temple, Mount Mary Church and the Haji Ali Dargah.
Mumbai is an adventure trip with trekking in Lonavala or khandala and water sports in Alibaug.
It is a historical trip if you check out the Elephanta Caves, Kanaheri caves or the old buildings at the Churchgate.
And then there is the city itself. Explore every bit of it slowly. Travel in a local train. If you cannot make it in  the peak hours, try it in the afternoon. Just look around and you will see people busy with their smart phones, laptops or books. Some watching a movie and some a funny video. Take a walk on on the Juhu beach, see every class and every age group  of people enjoying there. Don't go to a mall, instead check out the market located at any of the stations of the local train. you will find anything and everything. Furniture, Clothes, groceries,  eateries,  school, a dance or a music class, a gym, restaurants, bakeries, and the local joints. Don't miss the Mumbai sandwich and Wada Pav.
Visit Nehru Science Centre, go for boating in the Powai Lake and the then see the Gift of Science live before you "The Bandra -Worli sea link". Sit on the wall , watch the waves rushing towards you with a lot of sound. It takes you to a different journey altogether, either they are able to to share their own story or they force you to tell them your's.The experience is ultimate.

Till the last breath: By Durjoy Datta

I have not read much of contemporary Indian Authors. I am sure they must be too amazing but I tried some but left after few pages. Probably made a wrong choice. But recently after a long time I came across this one and the title instantly attracted me. I was still not sure so I did not buy it. After a few days I suddenly decided I want to read it.
I downloaded the book and surprisingly completed it  in just 3 days. Also that the first  eBook  I read but I must say I want to keep it with me forever. The book is amazing. The story is about Pihu-a sweet, polite, adorable and intelligent girl who wants to become a doctor :Dr Armaan-a 30 year old successful doctor whose life is work, who is rude and seems emotionless. And then there is Dushyant; an alcoholic and drug addict whose organs are slowly failing and Dr Zaraah, who is fighting to come out of her terrible past. Pihu's world is turned upside down when she is detected of  a life threatening disease just as she has started her journey of becoming a doctor.

You must be thinking what could be good in a book about two patients in a same room with their lives in danger. Hospitals are depressing enough and doctors appear as emotionless, rude creature for whom the patient is a case no or bed no. But the  book is special, quite realistic, characters which seem to be realistic. The two sick people appear to be  more true because they cry sometimes, breakdown before someone close, complain for what happened to them and show their wish to live longer.They are not All the time Happy go Lucky: who never crib or complaint and whose friends never realise if they had any problem.That is something I never understand and appreciate about books and movies of similar kind. I mean in such a bad state  how can SOMEONE be happy all the time without giving a clue of their problem to friends and family  or anyone around.

 Coming back to the story:  So there are these 2 people in the same room: Pihu- who wants to live and achieve and Dushyant who does not appreciate the gift of life. But Life bestows its wishes on whom and it what ways. Miracle happens but how, you should read and find out.

Almighty has His own ways of blessing all. You just need to believe in it and open your eyes to see it.

Remember when by Judith Mcnaught

This is a very special creation of Judith's novel and quite different from her other creations.  A simple yet a very special Love story.
